CAVC Works to Make Legislation Work for You
As its primary responsibility, CAVC strives to protect the vending and coffee service industry in California to ensure favorable results relating to taxes, legislation, regulation and social issues. We maintain close, personal relationships with legislators and lobbyists who constantly monitor legislation affecting our industry and our members.
State Capitol Lobbyists
When legislation is introduced or passed that may affect the vending and office coffee service industry, our lobbyists inform CAVC members and provide advice and strategy to approve or oppose pending legislation.

Legislative Day in Sacramento
As its primary responsibility, CAVC strives to protect the vending and coffee service industry in California to ensure favorable results relating to taxes, legislation, regulation and social issues. CAVC members visit Sacramento annually to meet face to face with legislators that can impact the convenience services business.

Who We Are
The California Automatic Vendors Council (CAVC) is a nonprofit organization that advocates for and supports the vending, office coffee, and convenience services industry in California. We serve as a valuable resource for our members, keeping you connected, informed, and ahead of change—with access to legislative updates, events, education, and community.
Membership Benefits
Representation at the Capitol
When you join CAVC, your business and fellow vendors receive representation at the State Capitol. Your dues support the lobbyists who work on our behalf.
Education Programs
Receive educational training all year long on issues affecting the California vending and convenience services industry.
Scholarship Award
Four $7,500 post high school scholarships ($3,750/semester) are offered by the Walsh Family CAVC Scholarship Foundation. Every CAVC Member company whose dues are paid in full may endorse two applicants.

Annual Meetings & Events
At our annual CAVC conference, members gain knowledge that will help you focus on the growth of your vending business and the convenience services industry. Meetings provide legislative updates, educational seminars on a variety of trending topics, and networking opportunities. Engage and connect with your community at other CAVC events like Lobby Day and the Scholarship Golf Tournament for operators and suppliers.
Scholarship Award
for CAVC Members
Since 1996, CAVC has recognized a need to provide financial assistance to individual students who have a desire to further their education. Through our scholarship award, any CAVC member in good standing may sponsor a full-time student associated with your company. Apply for an annual drawing and a chance for a partial scholarship.

CAVC provides networking opportunities, supports legislative efforts on your behalf, and keeps you up to date on the latest trends. CAVC supports vending, OCS, and micro market operators as well as vending manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and brokers.
